Left Ankle Injuries with Surgical Fixation - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing
This exhibit illustrates an ankle fracture dislocation with comminuted tibial fracture and an open skin wound with exposure of a portion of the distal tibia. Pertinent steps of the surgical procedure are illustrated to show the repairs. The medial malleolar fragment is fixed with corkscrews anchors and a plate and multiple screws are used to fixate the fibula.
