Right Knee Injuries with Surgical Repairs - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing
This stock medical exhibit depicts right knee injuries with surgical reconstruction. The exhibit begins with one skeletal view of the right knee clearly revealing the tear of the lateral collateral ligament, the sprain of the popliteus tendon, the rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament, the tear of the medial meniscus, the defect of the articular cartilage of the patella and the defects of the medial tibial and lateral femoral condyles. Also shown in this exhibit are several key steps in the surgical reconstruction procedure. These images include the insertion of the arthroscopic instruments into the joint, the repair of the torn lateral meniscus and the reconstruction of the anterior cruciate ligament with patellar bone and ligament graft harvest and placement.
